Granma's Kitchen

My granma makes really good food.  My favorite was the cookies I helped make.  She also made good turkey.  I like the smoothies too.

Fazoli's 439 West Coliseum Boulevard, Fort Wayne, IN

Fazoli's is the best place to eat, at least that I have been to.  I think it will always be the best place I ever eat.  The bread sticks are so good!

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill 2021 Highway 287 N, Mansfield, TX

I ordered two mini burgers that were plain.  They came with an applesauce cup and a soda.  The first burger tasted burnt.  The second one tasted sort of burnt, but not really.  If you want to go here, I think it will be okay, but it's not the best place in the world.

Pizza Hut 101 East North Street, Kendallville, IN

I had the lunch buffet.  The bread sticks were cheesy.  I had a dozen pieces of pizza.  My favorite one was the dessert pizza.  It tasted like it was banana cream filled and it had chocolate and caramel frosting on the top.  The crust was filled with chocolate.

American Pancake House 1008 West McKinley Avenue, Mishawaka, IN

The chocolate chip pancakes were fluffy.  They were huge and there were two of them.  They came with butter and whipped cream.  They melted the chocolate chips were melted and on the top and in the middle.

American Table Restaurant 3575 Lake City Highway, Warsaw, IN

I ordered the mini-burgers.  They were fat and juicy.  There was a bunch of cheese in the middle.  Mine came with ketchup on it.  My order came with two burgers.

Savage Gulf in TN

The pancakes were golden brown.  They were really fluffy which makes them really good.  They're definitely not like the burnt ones my dad makes.  His are only black.  It's the only color on the pancakes my dad makes.

Shoney's 1046 Executive Drive, Elizabethtown, KY

The cake had caramel icing and the dough was golden.  It was really good.  The biscuits were golden brown.  It was really good.  Then they had my favorite vegetable--corn.  When I put salt on it, it tasted creamy and salty at the same time.

Choo-Choo N. Go-Go

My dad's dad makes really good biscuits and gravy!  It tastes like the bread sticks at Fazoli's only with gravy on top.

Mt. Vernon 3535 Broad St, Chattanooga, TN

Have you ever been to Mt. Vernon in Tennessee?  It's not very good, but the french silk pie was pretty good.  I'll tell you what was not very good--the chili nachos.  They had chunks of tomatoes.  I hate tomatoes!  My mom had the goober pie.  I don't think it was very good.  I don't like peanut butter, and it had peanut butter in it.

Chick's Diner 2930 Main Street, Parsons, KS

The burger was really fat and juicy like sausage.  If your favorite thing is coconut, which is my favorite things, you might be disappointed with he coconut lemon pie.  It was mostly lemon with some coconut on top.

Burger King 2111 North Woodlawn, Wichita, KS (again)

I liked their cinnamon rolls.  They were really good.  They had huge layers of cinnamon and icing I could dip them in.  I got to eat them because it was my mom's birthday and we always have cinnamon rolls and usually breakfast in bed, but she had to get out of bed to eat at Burger King.  I was really hyper after eating the rolls and had to run around for like an hour.

Hog Heaven 115 27th Avenue North, Nashville, TN

I had pulled pork, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and a cornbread pancake.  I didn't really like any of it.  My mom had the pulled turkey with the Kickin' Chicken sauce and she said it was really good, but not as good as the lady on TV made it sound.

Drury Inn 2608 East Malone Ave, Sikeston, MO

They had free dinner and breakfast.  I like the pretzels at dinner; they were nice and salty.  I liked the popcorn.  It was buttery and really good too.  Breakfast was really good too and hot.  They had a pool that was really neat.  My dad found a ball and I used it as a floating device.  I wrapped my arms around it and it made me float.

Food Works 205 Manufacturers Rd # C, Chattanooga, TN

I sort of liked the cheese pizza.  My dad ordered the banana nut french toast.  It was really good.  The bacon was really juicy.  Overall I did not like this restaurant much.  They did have cool triangular crayons in a triangular box--those were neat.

Cold Stone Creamery 3900 Arlington Highlands Blvd #149, Arlington, TX

I loved the strawberry ice cream with Snickers mixed it.  It was what my mom picked for her birthday.  She let us get a waffle bowl dipped in chocolate with sprinkles.  The guy making our ice cream threw it in the air and caught it in the cup!  I like that.  That is why I always go here.

Chuck E. Cheese 2216 S. Fielder Road, Arlington, Texas

Chuck E. Cheese was really fun.  I watched a video on YouTube about how to cheat on one of the game, but I didn't because that wouldn't be as fun.  The pizza was okay--I like Cici's or Double Dave's better.  My sisters each got to pick a big prize, but I am waiting to save more tickets.  We have been saving like 5 years and still don't have too many.  I think we should go here more and earn extra tickets.

McDonald's 6230 Matlock Road, Arlington, TX

This is just another McDonald's.  I got to eat a Happy Meal this time which was neat because usually I don't get one.  I found an extra toy on the playground.  It was better than the toy in my meal.  I bought my own ice cream for dessert--it was very good and I even got change back.

Mimi's Cafe 301 Interstate 20 East, Arlington, TX

If you haven't been to Mimi's Cafe, you should probably go.  I like the chocolate chip pancakes.  They were so good!  They also have great sausage that is really fat and juicy.  I sat in a cool round booth and could even see into the kitchen.  I watched them bake my pancakes.  I really liked the eggs.  I didn't have any this time, but everything they have is good.  My mom even got a piece of cake with a candle since it is almost her birthday.  The cake was real good, but I was full of breakfast so I didn't eat much.

Granite City 2244 North Webb Road, Wichita, KS

I didn't really like the Boulder Burger.  It made me too full and I just didn't like it at all.  The chips weren't really good either.  I didn't like seeing the big brewery tanks either.

McDonald's 770 Interstate 35, Belle Plaine, KS

If you are travelling, you probably should go to McDonald's.  It has lots of food and some have a play place.  Some used to have a ball pit even, but now all the balls were taken out and probably melted together and now the orange tunnel leading to the ball pit was capped off. (This actually describes the play place at another McDonald's as the one in this travel center did not have a play place.)  I had a strawberry milkshake.  It tasted really good.

Souper Salad 1325 Interstate 20 W #121, Arlington, TX

If you've ever been to Souper Salad, I hope you tried their bread sticks.  They are golden little sticks that I give 4.5 forks.  Their gingerbread is really good too.  They even have a coconut ice cream topping.

Costco 600 West Arbrook Blvd, Arlington, TX

At Costco they have free boxes!  I use them to make a club.  My club has a pizza box that is a window.  Cuz like it has a screeny thingy. (The top is transparent plastic so you can see the pizza.)  Today I bought my own churro (usually mom makes everyone share).  It had twelve coats of cinnamon-sugar on it that made it taste yummy-yummy!  I also like to eat the samples.  My favorite was a breakfast burrito.  Usually we get a pepperoni pizza too.  I give it 4.5 forks. (That is on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the best.)

The Good Egg 2141 North Bradley Fair Pkwy #111, Wichita, KS

Have you ever been to The Good Egg?  If you haven't, that's good.  The Mickey Mouse pancake had a wheaty aftertaste.  They weren't very good.  I also had cran-raspberry juice, and it tasted kind of good, but it was sour.  I really wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but my mom ate it all!

McDonald's 3527 North Rock Road, Wichita, KS

Have you ever been to McDonald's?  Well, if you haven't, you should probably go there.  It had four video games, and if you go to the fourth one it has Over the Hedge.  That is my favorite of them all because I get to kill dead mice (they raise from the dead).  They have a strawberry banana smoothie that was very tasty.  I have also tried the burger, fries, and chicken nuggets.  They all tasted just like other McDonald's I go to.

Burger King 211 N. Wodlawn, Wichita, KS

If you ever go to Burger King and you are an adult, you should probably let your kids climb up to the top of the playground and crawl to the front and you can see them from another part of the building.  Then they can crawl back and be in the other part of the building.

Mr. Bud's 3404 N. Arkansas Ave., Wichita, KS

Have you ever been to Mr. Bud's.  If you haven't, you should probably go there.  For dessert, you should get the carrot cake balls.  The icing (actually coated with melted white chocolate that was refrigerated until it solidified) was very good and coated a little bite of cake.  I had a corn dog, but it wasn't really good.  They have a double cheeseburger that I wanted to order, but my mom said I had to "branch out" since I had a burger at lunch.  I don't like branching out.

Fazoli's 3553 North Rock Road, Wichita, KS

When you order at Fazoli's, make sure to pick up some extra bread sticks.  They are golden, have soft dough, and are really tasty.  They even have a bookmark and if you read five books, you can get a free kid's meal.  I went on Tuesday which was kids eat cheap day and ordered the pizza.  The pepperoni pizza was really juicy and very thick.

Old Mill Tasty Shop 604 East Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS

If you ever go to Old Mill Tasty Shop, you should probably order the very cherry sundae (actually called Brownie Sundae or something like that) for dessert.  For lunch, you should have the grilled cheese!  It had melted cheese and was really good.

IHOP 3505 North Rock Road, Wichita, KS

Have you ever been to IHOP?  If you haven't, you should go and try the Rooty Jr.  It is a pancake.  On mine there was apple and whipped cream.  I put butter pecan syrup on it too.  It came with eggs and 4 sausages too.  They were really good.

City Bites 3570 N Woodlawn, Wichita, KS

If you ever go to City Bites, you should probably try the Red Velvet Cookie.  It's really good.  It tastes as good as cake and toaster pastries put together.
