Granma's Kitchen

My granma makes really good food.  My favorite was the cookies I helped make.  She also made good turkey.  I like the smoothies too.

Mt. Vernon 3535 Broad St, Chattanooga, TN

Have you ever been to Mt. Vernon in Tennessee?  It's not very good, but the french silk pie was pretty good.  I'll tell you what was not very good--the chili nachos.  They had chunks of tomatoes.  I hate tomatoes!  My mom had the goober pie.  I don't think it was very good.  I don't like peanut butter, and it had peanut butter in it.

Cold Stone Creamery 3900 Arlington Highlands Blvd #149, Arlington, TX

I loved the strawberry ice cream with Snickers mixed it.  It was what my mom picked for her birthday.  She let us get a waffle bowl dipped in chocolate with sprinkles.  The guy making our ice cream threw it in the air and caught it in the cup!  I like that.  That is why I always go here.

Souper Salad 1325 Interstate 20 W #121, Arlington, TX

If you've ever been to Souper Salad, I hope you tried their bread sticks.  They are golden little sticks that I give 4.5 forks.  Their gingerbread is really good too.  They even have a coconut ice cream topping.

Costco 600 West Arbrook Blvd, Arlington, TX

At Costco they have free boxes!  I use them to make a club.  My club has a pizza box that is a window.  Cuz like it has a screeny thingy. (The top is transparent plastic so you can see the pizza.)  Today I bought my own churro (usually mom makes everyone share).  It had twelve coats of cinnamon-sugar on it that made it taste yummy-yummy!  I also like to eat the samples.  My favorite was a breakfast burrito.  Usually we get a pepperoni pizza too.  I give it 4.5 forks. (That is on a 1-5 scale, 5 being the best.)

Mr. Bud's 3404 N. Arkansas Ave., Wichita, KS

Have you ever been to Mr. Bud's.  If you haven't, you should probably go there.  For dessert, you should get the carrot cake balls.  The icing (actually coated with melted white chocolate that was refrigerated until it solidified) was very good and coated a little bite of cake.  I had a corn dog, but it wasn't really good.  They have a double cheeseburger that I wanted to order, but my mom said I had to "branch out" since I had a burger at lunch.  I don't like branching out.

Old Mill Tasty Shop 604 East Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS

If you ever go to Old Mill Tasty Shop, you should probably order the very cherry sundae (actually called Brownie Sundae or something like that) for dessert.  For lunch, you should have the grilled cheese!  It had melted cheese and was really good.

City Bites 3570 N Woodlawn, Wichita, KS

If you ever go to City Bites, you should probably try the Red Velvet Cookie.  It's really good.  It tastes as good as cake and toaster pastries put together.
